INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPEAKERS

Duration of oral presentations: according to the program
Language for oral presentations: Croatian or English
Language for slides: English

Speakers are kindly asked to adhere to the allotted time for oral presentations, as the presentation will be automatically terminated once the time expires.

Recommendations:

• avoid using capital letters
• avoid using red text
• avoid full sentences; bullet points are sufficient (4–5 per slide)
• number of slides: 1–2 per minute

Instructions for preparing presentations:

• PCs will be used at the Congress
• presentations should be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT) (2003 or newer)
• Macintosh users must export their presentation as an MS PowerPoint file
• operating systems used at the Congress will be Microsoft Office 2013 and Windows 7
• you may use the provided TEMPLATE for creating presentations
• allowed formats: .ppt and .pptx

Video files:

Video files must be compressed. There are many formats and codecs, but we recommend .mp4 video – H.264 video and AAC audio (MPEG-4 AVC). Other supported formats: .mpg, .wmv, and .avi

Speakers are kindly asked to submit their presentation media to the Congress agency technician at least 2 hours before their scheduled presentation time in the congress hall, for verification purposes.

Technical staff will test and check presentation compatibility, and speakers will have a final opportunity to make minor adjustments.

Speakers are kindly asked to provide any special instructions related to their presentation to the technical staff when submitting the presentation, not during the presentation itself.
